Description: Technical report
Abstract: This procedural guide is an instructional manual for the use of the U.S. Army Terrain Analyst when preparing the following factor overlays: slope, landform, and surf ace roughness. These overlays are constructed from the analysis of the combined data extracted from literature, topographic maps, and aerial/LANDSAT imagery. A catalog section includes the descriptions of photo pattern, topographic map, and surface roughness data elements for thirty-seven typical topographic/geologic forms.
