Abstract: The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center conducted a study to provide recommendations on the use of asphalt surface treatments on airfield pavements. The evaluation included the analysis of laboratory testing procedures to provide quantitative predictive performance capabilities. This report presents testing results and provides guidance on selecting appropriate laboratory testing procedures for asphalt surface treatments.
