Description: Miscellaneous Paper
Abstract: This User's Guide provides the technical information required to implement a concrete pavement restoration (CPR) program. Guidlines are provided for determining when a CPR program is appropriate, for selecting and executing appropriate repair techniques, and for approximating the cost associated with CPR. The discussion on repair techniques includes full-depth patching, slab stabilization, installation of edge-drains, partial-depth patching, reestablishment of load-transfer, reestablishment of edge-support, surface grinding, and resealing joints and cracks.
