Abstract: This report describes the proposals for various dredged material disposal alternatives for Skiffes Creek, Fort Eustis, Va. A total of nine disposal area alternatives are considered in this report. A conclusion was drawn during this study that the proposed areas were adequate to contain the 400,000 cu yd of material to be dredged in 1987. From the economical view, the most attractive proposed area is Alternative 7 -- the cost of-whlch is $23,500 per acre, with the total cost being about $2,567,700. The designs, construction considerations, and cost estimates of the nine alternatives along with various soil boring data, stability analysis, and a 50-year analysis of consolidation and desiccation of dredged material are included in this report.-
