Abstract: New equipment and construction techniques are being developed and incorporated by industry to quarry and produce aggregates and for the mixing and construction of asphalt concrete pavements. This report is a presentation of those developments and the pertinent pieces of equipment that could readily be incorporated into the Army's inventory. The incorporation of this equipment would enable units to significantly increase material production with compact, readily transportable machinery with negligible impact on Table of Organization and Equipment allotments.
